   • Intergranular Corrosion Resistance: By controlling the composition (e.g., reducing carbon content or adding titanium, niobium, etc.), carbide precipitation at grain boundaries can be reduced to avoid intergranular corrosion (e.g., low-carbon grades like 304L, 316L).
